That is good news. My MIL had a stroke several years back and though she never really came back, she was able to live on her own for several years. Is in a home now and still has good days, but also has had problems there including falling and breaking bones. So I am glad your Dad is able to be in his own house as that is so much better.
We like you are seperated by miles from our parents, and that sure makes it tough to help out as you feel you should. Both of mine are now gone.
It sounds as if your parents have a good attitude, thats one of the biggest parts of rehab..
