    Black Limba and Blackwood

Another piece of Black Limba with Blackwood lid/finial. I love turning this wood but it smells like a wet dog.

4-3/4" x 4-3/4". Finished with Seal-A-Cell and buffed with Tripoli and Wax.

Beautiful! I like how the finial matches the grain running thru the wood.

Neal, the CoC prevents me from typing the first words out of my mouth, so I'll just say Wow. Excellent hollow form, and the form and crisp details on the finial are top notch.

Saw it already on WoW, still I'm a guest viewer. Happy New Year.

Great work, Neal! Love that line that flows thru it - is that spalting?

Neal, I always look forward to seeing your hollow forms as they are great examples of form. This piece is no exception! Most impressed with the finial - it's design and your detail work!

Still picking up pointers with your photography! Great lighting, focus and color!
