    Maple bowl 7 ¾” x 2 5/8”, sanded to 400, Watco ‘Natural’, Minwax Gloss Poly, buffed.

    Yeah, I SEE what you mean.
    That's a gorgous bowl, Steve, and that grain and especially those eyes really set it apart from any other bowl out there. Beautiful!!!!

    Very nice, Steve. Great job. I'm impressed that it didn't crack a bunch from the eyes. (Or if it did, I'm impressed with the way you filled the cracks.)
