    Lasers are Now Ubiquitous!

Does this strike anyone else as a bit funny?

That is pretty goofy. If you need laser percision for cutting paper, there are better ways than with a scissors.

Thats right up there with a laser guide on a circular saw. It will always cut on the laser, even if your hand turns the saw.

Laser guides are only of value when what they are attached to is stationary, or is very restricted in its movement. I have a laser guide on my drill press. That works well, because it is fixed in one position.

That's nutty. I'm short of time right now, but I'm going try to come up with the most ridiculous "laser-guided" idea, them make it happen in Photoshop. Something along the lines of a laser guided carving chisel. Any ideas you want to see?

If they'd turn up the power a little they could leave off the blades.
