    Router Lift for amateurs

    Good day

In one of the pics of the "Rolling Mortiser", I wrote, "it would be nice to have a router lift"....

So, I made it...very primitive one but, it works...

The advantage of this design is that the crank is out of the table and never interferes with the work and I can change the bit height without stopping the router and that, lets me to "bite" in small increments without stressing the router.

I think that with a little bit of imagination, it can be fitted also to the "normal" cabinet router table but I leave it to you...

Yep, that would work just fine!

Way to go Niki, one more to add to the list of things you have done well and kept simple!

    Thank you so much Stu

I must make it simple...the hardware selection here is very, very poor....not to mention the fact that I don't have the knowledge of "engineering"
