In one of the pics of the "Rolling Mortiser", I wrote, "it would be nice to have a router lift"....
So, I made it...very primitive one but, it works...
The advantage of this design is that the crank is out of the table and never interferes with the work and I can change the bit height without stopping the router and that, lets me to "bite" in small increments without stressing the router.
I think that with a little bit of imagination, it can be fitted also to the "normal" cabinet router table but I leave it to you...
