Is this what I think it is? 
.... Was out at my daughter's place and found these two Ashes that were viable green trees this past summer. They are devistated and the woodpeckers have pecked all the bark off.... UK Extension area office says there are no Emerald Ash Borers in KY, But.... 
Her property is covered with Ash trees and there are several really large ones looming over their house.
