    Large ‘Artful’ Bowl

This is the bowl I was referring to in my last post. Hope you like it as much as I do!

This chunk of maple has just about everything working for it – curly, voids, color, bark, cracks, and a few birdseye just for effect.

Maple Bowl 11 7/8” x 4 ½” x 3/8”, sanded to 400, Watco Natural and a couple of quick wipe on/wipe off coats of Minwax Poly. Hasn’t been buffed yet as I want to wait another few days to make sure everything is good and dry.

    Thanks for looking!

Yer right. Without the hole, it would be just another $30.00 bowl. With the hole, it is a $300.00 work of art.
    Actually, very fine.

Steve, very nice indeed. Are you about out of maple? You have to be...if not can you show a pic of your blank storage....it must be huge!

I agree...that's a great piece of wood. You did a great job showing it off, too.

You're on a roll. In a bowl. With a hole.
