Look what the Ooops Man brought me...

My Oh My.... What have we here? The UPS man left these 2 boxes on my door step.

    What could they be?

Oh, a Porter Cable 690 router and matching sander....Cool! Just what I wanted...

    Attachment 16730

Oh, I forgot....these belong to Stu! I just gotta rebox them up and take them to the Post Office to ship across the pond to Tokyo...

P.S. Thanks for the sander case, Stu.

Well, you had to make sure they were OK and re-pack them for safety, right?

Yep, and besides....Stu said I could have the sander case, as he doesn't use them and I can pack in a smaller box without it...

Yeah I got the same deal, congrats, Stu! I was lucky that I was traveling in the US so I could just pick it up from a friend as I passed through.

Now that sounds like a great idea, Ken. Besides, Stu is busy overhauling the Dungeon. When he gets done maybe I can say I sent 'em to him, and he must have accidentally tossed them out with the other junk....

    Ya think that'll work?

I dont' know but I do know that overseas shipping is expensive! I would hate to see Stu pay for something to be shipped and it wasn't verified that it was working correctly and would last for a while.

Why not save the shipping and just take it over to him when you move over there yourself?

Congrats on (soon to be) your new tools, Stu. I do like my PC 690 routers.

Hey, no playing with my toys before I get to play with them!!

Yep, you are one heck of a nice guy Greg!

Can't wait to get the router, never had ANY PC tools. I really think I should have bought two sets that was one heck of a deal!

Oh yeah, you can keep the French and Spanish Manuals too!!
