Ken, no kennels. The young ones have wire crates in our bedroom for when we're gone, and at night until they earn our trust. Right now, all 9 are loose in the bedroom at night. The oldsters are loose all the time.
These guys are our kids, they are our companions, and I couldn't imagine leaving a dog outside anymore. And yes, they do keep you warm on a winter's night!
What is Alemeda East? We have talked to the "big" vet Specialists in Dallas/Colleyville. It was this group that removed a kidney from one of our dogs a few years ago. Evidently this is pretty specialized stuff, and no one locally will tackle it. It could be open heart surgery, or it could be something that is inserted into the heart through one of the veins, or it may not be operable at all. That is what the DR. from A&M that comes up once a month that we missed because of the bad weather, will tell us next week. Right now Jules is in her normal position, under my computer chair as I type! Jim.

She's half Ausie Cattle dog and half pit bull. My son brought her home as a young pup about 4 years ago and she inherited me. She's great with kids and a Big Baby. wants to be with me all th time.

Here's our zoo. The Airedale is Spencer, my buddy. The English Setter is Lila, the queen. Petie is the old man of the group (14), Mazie is my jungle cat, and Kita is the baby (2).

Love all the pics of the furry kids!

Hi Jim. I was showing LOML your pictures and I told her that all the dogs were inside types. She quickly said with a grin, "and you sleep outside."

Alameda East is the emergency animal hospital on the "Emergency Vets" program on the Animal Planet channel. It is located in suburban Denver CO. They are a top shelf operation. Last I saw, they had acquired a CT scan machine. One of their frequent cases is the repair of hip and knee joints in dogs, everything from a tiny poodle to a sheep dog. In several programs there have been people from Kansas, and Texas bringing in dogs that can't be 'repaired' other places. They also have a new vet intern program that lasts for a year. For me it is an enjoyable program.

My big-boy Saint is failing now , but here are he and Missy when they were maybe 12 and 18 months old... after MIssy tore the hose bib off the side of the house and they played in the geyser for about 90 minutes.

And Princess the Cocker, who just turned 7...

And finally, the little lads that have actuallly changed my entire outlook on things, Beauregard (by the ball), and Elvis... Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

    Smile Good looking dogs

Kirk, they look like a fine set of companions. It looks like they have a good home that takes great care of them.
