A few keepsake boxes

Is ther any chance of you sharing that pattern? I've just started to do cutting boards and this one is the best pattern I've seen.
Thank you

Jiggs, I've got a tutorial for that kind of cutting board on my website:

Dewayne, it could be done in an end grain...it'd just be a bit tricky. Here's an end grain board I did a couple of years ago.

The trick is to make a real thick one, then slice it:

I'd like to do another set (probably do a bigger "log" and slice several off of it). I suspect they'd sell, but I never seem make the time to do it. ;)

How do you make your right triangles so perfect, and the same exact size ????
Les, it's mostly just very careful tablesaw setup. Any variation after gluing up the initial nine "squares" that make up the center part was trimmed up on the jointer.

Part of the reason I've hesitated to make more of these is the fact that if I mess up a cut, it's pretty expensive. (I start with 8/4 lumber, which is costly at the retail places where I buy wood.)

Instead of completely threadjacking Dewayne's thread, I'll try to put something together and start another thread explaining how I did these.
