    Glue line on router table

    Good day

I think that some of you will find this method dangerous but, "dangerous" has different meaning to different people.
What one considers as dangerous, looks very safe to the other.

Personally, I think that to work on the table saw without splitter and blade guard is very dangerous and that means that also the "Grripper" is big "no no", while others..."I work 30 years without the guard" or "it's still in the plastic bag" and "the Grripper is the best safety tool"....

With this method, I get not only very nice glue line but also, consistent width along the board.

I started with simple method and gradually I added components for better control and safety.

I would like to emphasize that I'm removing only 0.2~0.3mm (0.008"~0.012") at every pass and usually that's enough.

The straight edge must be at least double the length of the board...the one on the pics is of 67" but I have another one of 118" that will cover most of my demands

    Regards
    niki
