    Hey, Travis!

I've got family in Vermont, but even if they kept this in their barn until I could pick it up this summer, it'd be a scene hauling this monster all the way back to DC!

    So... knock yourself out: http://cgi.ebay.com/Large-Antique-Ca...QQcmdZViewItem

for 10 bucks, you can't go wrong!

    Thanks,

    Bill

I bet it only weighs 300/400 pounds.
I wouldn’t mind some of his lumber stash in the background.

Well, I had to drive to charlottesville last night... by the time I got home, the price had increased 10-fold!

Just checked, and it's up to $157. Alas!

On the other hand, Doorlink gets extra credit points for figuring out that we could drive to Conn. on a friday evening, stay over night, jump in the truck and get to Brattleboro on Saturday morning, and be back in time for her to sing at 8:00 am sunday...

Of course, with 6 days to go, it'll likely be well beyond reach by the time the auction expires...

    Thanks,

    Bill

Thanks but I'll pass. I would not know what to do with a real vice anyway. I have no room for a bench in my small shop either!!

I did move things around last weekend. Its the first time in 3 years I did any major change and I kind of like it. It makes the shop a bit more "cluttery looking" on the sides, but it gives me more open space in the middle in which to work. I'll try it and see how it works for me.
I have no intention of traveling from birth to the grave in a manicured and well preserved body; but rather I will skid in sideways, totally beat up, completely worn out, utterly exhausted and jump off my tractor and loudly yell, "Wow, this is what it took to feed a nation!"
