    Face Shield and Magnifier together????

As my eyesight is not as good as it used to be, I wear tri-focal glasses and it was never good to start with, I'm considering getting this magnifier from Woodcraft:

I already use this face shield from Lee Valley:

As I'm sure they can't be used together, correct me if I'm wrong, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can use to protect myself and use magnification when I need it?

    Thanks,
    .....Gord

Maybe you could attach the magnifier to the shield so you don't have two headbands. It would go up with the shield but its a thought.

Good idea, Kevin. I had thought of that but can't really say if it will work until I get the magnifier. Guess I'll just have to try it.

Before ordering check out a gunsmith supplier for more options on the same concept. The best (IMHO) is Brownell's http://www.brownells.com/Default.aspx

    Reading glasses

I buy them at wal-mart 3 for less than 8 bucks, up to 3.5 x magnifiers, work great with a face shield

    Thanks for the tip!!
Although I would rather eat worms than shop at Wal-Mart, that's a personal thing. I'm sure other places must carry those and I'll look around. Thanks again!

By the way, Rick, welcome to the Family!! Hope you enjoy it here.

Gord, check these guys out http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/index.php

Prices are great (wait till you see what they get for that faceshield you have: http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/...ce-Shield.html ) and service is even better. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer!

Ahh, Man!!! Now why did you have to go and show me that, Tony?
I was feeling so good about that face shield and now you show me that I could have bought it for less than half what I paid.
Oh, well, thanks for the link to another supplier that I'll have to bookmark. Like I need another place to send my paltry allowance whenever SWMBO gives me some!!! NOT!!!
