Router Boss

The Router Boss would mount on a box like Doug made although you don't need the dust collection stuff inside the box as I designed for the Rat. Dust collection is provided for out the right end of the box beam on the Router Boss.

Doug, are you going to put a Plunge Bar on that router? ;)

Already did but just dont have a pic since adding the bar. Also took your advice about removing the turret stop/spring. Still have a digital readout kit from Craftsman Gallery that I still need to get installed though but have been busy with a few other things. I've got a couple of shop cabinets I need to make and I'm planning on using the Rat for some sliding DTs for attaching poplar drawer fronts to BB ply sides. Unless I need to make stopped cuts, I think I'll stick with a dado blade though for rabbets/dados just for speed.

Good. That Plunge Bar is nice when you're hand holding the router, too.

The Rat (or the Router Boss) is great for sliding dovetails. Make sure you do climb cuts on the tenon end to avoid tear out at the shoulder.
