DeWalt plunge saw

IIRC Stu posted a link about this saw a while ago.

I was looking at the UK DeWalt website and they have 2 cordless versions and a corded one. The rail system is also supposed to accept their router.

I just emailed DeWalt over here and they said that due to OSHA they didn't think it would be available here.

If you're interested in one as a Festool alternative I would suggest pestering them to put it in for approval. I can't imagine it would be that hard for them to get it passed as the Festool model meets the requirements.

Or, better yet, get a Festool.

That's true....but it would be nice to have the alternative especially cordless. I also believe that the plunge mechanism is different to the fessy.
