    The Ultimate Home Made Tool

There has been a lot of threads on here lately about building some woodworking tools (home made drum sander), the making of aluminum dust collection hose clamps (Bruce Page) and of course all my posts about various machinist ways of doing things. I was digging around the internet and found this ultimate homemade machine.

Its a metal lathe, milling machine and drill press all rolled into one and is made out of some plate, some bearings and two engine blocks. You can't help but bea little be impressed with the ingenuity of it all.

Neat concept, for anyone who has a few engine blocks and some spare time, here is the link to how to make it...all 80 pages of it!

I have no intention of traveling from birth to the grave in a manicured and well preserved body; but rather I will skid in sideways, totally beat up, completely worn out, utterly exhausted and jump off my tractor and loudly yell, "Wow, this is what it took to feed a nation!"
