Hi,
Just finished this stand for our TV nook. No real plans... it just kinda came together based on the height of our components and the size of the nook. It was my first time doing a long board glue-up and it seemed to work out pretty well.
It is all solid cherry that I planed and jointed with exception of the cherry ply for the side panels.
I finished the cabinet above the stand a few months ago. It is a ply casing with cherry trim and paneled doors. European style hidden hinges.
For perspective, the nook is 4.5' wide by 7.5' tall.
I know this doesn't quite measure up to some of your great projects out there but I certainly enjoy watching my TV a bit more now!
