I have been making thin parting tools for over a year and I found I enjoy doing making tools. I decided to make a 3 point tool for myself. My first 1 point plus the next 3 have been sold. These are 5 and 6. I thought I would try a different shape for the handles. They feel pretty nice but I haven't used them yet. They are 1/2 and 3/8 diameter. They are made from drill blanks from Enco. Handles are Hard Maple and Persimmon.

Terry, these are show piece tools; too pretty to use. Well done!

Got a question for you. In Cindy Drozda's video on turning a finial box she mentions using a "vortex tool". You know what a vortex tool looks like? The pictures at the end do not tell me what the darn thing looks like. It seems to be a small diameter three point tool with very elongated facets and a very sharp point.
