Well, all's quiet on the eastern front. Our out of town visitor is about to show up on campus for the second time. Everything went smoothly yesterday. Just walked campus and checked in on all my guys, and they've done such great work that I actually have time to sit here and write this note. Life seems good.
The architecture students designed and produced a chair and 'table' specially for the event, and I'm happy to say it was done in wood! They'll probably go in the museum after today... or the president's office...
As for me, I just want everything to go without hassle, and for 7:00 pm to get here with no news to report. I'll be glad when this is all behind us...
Why is it that things never go this smoothly in the shop?
