Today it hit 76 and yet Alyson and I found some snow to play in. Funny how a little girl can make you feel better when you are sad about other issues (my cousin and my dog).

I watched her shovel snow, excited about watching it melt in the sunlight. Then there was the walks through the trees I had planted 12 years ago. She even said tree for the first time. Then there was her middle of the woods snow stomp in the snow and trees. Finally we stopped at "the big rock" and played on that.

All in all it was a good day. About 6 hours of outdoor playing with Alyson, all while enjoying some snow and 76 temps. You don't do that very often in Maine.
