My First Hollow Forms

These are my first attempts at making hollow forms. They were done with a homemade hollowing rig (see thread in Turning Tools). This first one is a small 2” diameter by 2 1/2" high hackberry, the second is a 6” diameter by 3” high natural edge walnut, the third is a 5” high by 4 1/2" diameter locust, the forth is 5” inches high by 4” diameter elm. They are sort of natural edges except for the first which was an experiment to see how the hollowing rig would work. These were a lot of fun.
Comments and critiques are welcome and probably needed.

Me four! They all look good, but the second from the left is my favorite. Looks like the new tool is working like a champ.
