Hi all. I have a number of old 750 chisels. I recently bought a "new old stock" 3/4" 750 chisel. It has the standard 750 markings. I already had a 3/4" which also has the 750 markings. The socket on the NOS one is approx. 1/8" larger in diameter than the other one. Otherwise, the overall length and blade dimensions are identical. Did Stanley change the socket size on these chisels at some point in time? Thanks in advance for any information to satisfy my curiosity.
