As I only seem to vacate the lathe land section, I'm posting here but Admin, please free to move the post to a more appropriate spot if need be.
I never been happy with the quality of my photographs, and didn't want to splurge on a photo tent, so I concocted my own.
It's a simple setup - a box with the top, and sides cut out, and a few sheets of tissue paper from my wife's collection, and a poster board I picked up at the dollar store for 50 cents. Altough not a patch on a pro setup, I think the end results (see my last two posts in the lathe showcase section) are way more impressive than my prior efforts.
