    Bracelets (Bangles?) & Earrings

I wanted to try some segmented turning but I'm a long way from being ready to try bowls so I put together a few bracelets and a pair of earrings for LOML.

The first bracelet I made from two different colors of acrylic pen blanks. Unfortunately, I don't think there's enough color difference between the two different blanks so they are not easily distinguished.

The second photo is of three bracelets made with Padauk, Lacewood and Cocobolo. They are of three different widths.

The earrings are made from the same species of wood as the three bracelets to match the bracelets.

This is also my first attempt at using the photo tent I just got so I hope the photos are an improvement over earlier attempts although I have a lot of practicing to do.

Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Gord, this sure is a good way to get into segmented turning. All the pieces are wonderful. Very good work.

Really neat! I like all of them, and I like the pics as well, it seems that you've got the knack of the tent quite easily. I wish my pics were half good as yours!
I do not have a tent though (yet).
    Best regards,
    Toni

Very nice! What type of glue did you use for the acrylic pen blanks?

Gari, I used CA glue. Although I don't remember for sure, I believe I used medium thickness.

All of them look great to me, Gord. Those should net you at least one nag-free tool purchase.
