    I was burled over

My buddy Gary the wood guy called me and said he had a present.

Man, what a haul. That ought to make two or three pens or bottle stoppers, huh?

Does Gary need any more buddies?

Gorgeous. Gotta be gloat/brag of the week.
Wear face protection when turning. Thet thar burl stuff is just looking for an excuse to fly apart. I just went through three pieces, stabilized no less, trying to drill a hole in some.

Congrats Pete. You should get at least 4 pens blanks and maybe a stopper or two out of it.
