    An international flat rate box is only $38.95. If you are interested I can check with the post office to see if parcel post is cheaper.

    Terry and Stu,
    The USPS provides significantly reduced rates for international boxes that contain books. It may be a less expensive alternative to flat rate boxes, etc. Maybe you could include a small book or pamphlet in the box.

    FYI-I found out when shipping some books overseas to some old family friends once upon a time...
