    Sweetgum NE

    I harvested a bunch of Sweetgum slabs that I intended to let dry some more but after seeing Mark's NE Walnut bowl, I had to turn one of them. So I picked out a half-round blank of that Sweetgum and this is what came out of it.

    It's 10" x 11" x 4 3/4" and finished with a witch's brew of blo, poly and mineral spirits. I'll Beall buff it after it cures.

    Nice NE Cody! Really like the color variations! Good job on keeping all the bark! Seriously - nice work!
