    Wood Gloat

Picked up Josh from the last day of school and then dropped by the grounds crew to see if they had cut any tree's down lately. They did, One HUGE Maple. I can have as much as I want, but I've learned to only take a little bit at a time. When I get this stuff turned/roughed out, I'll go get some more.

Here is some really nice spalted pieces I received.

Jon, Great Haul I wish I would learn to only take a little bit at a time! That is sound advice, keeps SWMBO's in better mood about your wood pile.

Hate that stuff, better send it my way so I can get rid of it for you!!! I can never get that lucky. I get mesquite and oak all the time but nothing like spalted maple. Must be nice!

I was only able to get one bowl roughed out today. (out of the 'wood gloat') I took a picture of it before I put in the DNA bucket. I'm excited about this stuff.

I'm not sure about height but it is 8" round.
