Large Walnut Crotch unwrapped:)the whole family now!!!

Wow Larry, that is smooth indeed for a sawmill cut. Looks like it wouldn't be too difficult to get nice and smooth.

What would you guess one of those slabs weighs? I'd love to buy one but I'm guessing shipping would be a deal-breaker.

Let's see Larry leaves in April for the left cost. He will be gone for two weeks.
It's about 1500 miles from here to Larry's. So I could be there and back in what say three days. All that's left is to see if I can buy the keys to Larry's shop from Steve Ash for a case of Bud.:huh:
Oh darn, hey Larry when is Randi going to the quilting thing?:thumb:

well vaughn, the weight isnt as bad as you think its the size that gets you,, i stacked them inside last night and would say that the heaviest one weighs arounf 150?? and i will ck on shipping ,and chuck, youe welcome to stop over but the ashman hasnt been in touch in sometime, so i think he has retired form the security job, and randi has got her dates set to miss mine so we can change off on the guard duty:)
