Ebony handled saw

Hi Y'all,

Here's a look at a saw I recently completed. Gabon Ebony. 8" 16 ppi blade. First time using Ebony for a handle which presented a challenge or two.

It was filed specifically for sawing 8-10 mm drawer sides and so needed smoothness over speed--still cuts pretty quickly though.

Hey, what can I say Mike, 16 points to an 8" blade works fine for a lot of stuff.:thumb:

Thank you, Everyone!

Tom, we've been using a medallion bolt since maybe November or early December. I'm date challenged so I don't recall exactly--too many saws since then.

They are 3/4" in diameter. Made by Dave Jeske [as are our saw bolts and split nuts since back then sometime] and laser engraved by another local business.

Whoo-wee that's a sweet looking saw, Mike! You are definitely an artist. :bow: Anybody should be proud to own that saw. It's always great to see pics of your work.
