Couple of reasons for the Triton...no external protrusions...the hose on the Triton can get caught on things and cause an accident. Replacement parts are much more accessable for for a Trend. The Trend seals around the face better as the neck cuff on the Triton drapes over the shoulders depending on the postitive pressure to keep particulate matter out. However, the Trend, as of a year ago hadn't been tested by the FDA or OSHA were the Triton had.

Thanks Paul! and the rest of you guys and gals. Stacey and I are starting to feel the nerves a bit, so lot's of shopping and "busy" stuff. Although maybe not to coherent, I'll try to check in on Wednesday...can't be without my phone!
