Here are a couple of birdhouses that I made of redwood and maple. Redwood from Jim Burr. Thanks again. Finished with General Finishes Woodturners Finish. 3 1/2" long and 2" across.

Really some nice ones. If I ever get back on my lathe, I want to make some bigger ones to hang outside.

Nice.

It probably appears this way in the photo but the finish looks very different on both.

Thanks to all. I think it may have been the lighting which wasn't good where I took them. In the house they look pretty much the same.

I don't know why, but those are one of my favorite things to make on the lathe. I guess it's because it's such instant gratification.

As always Bernie, those are outstanding.
