It's Friday! - 5/31/2013 Edition

It's going to be a looooonnnngggg weekend. Have a bathroom vanity to finish. (I'm going to start a "how not to build a bathroom vanity" thread), and a closet organizer thing to plan out for a walk in closet. Let's see....flower beds to weed, a couple of rooms need painting....blah blah blah....:p

if you finish the vanity, weeding the flowers, painting a couple of rooms, they gonna start calling you Levine.

I just got back from running a few errands with the wife, fully intended on finishing up face frames for my cabs, but theres no way Im going out there anymore today.
Its just too hot and sticky, sticky being the real tough part. Its 82 degrees F and 70% humidity with a dew point of 66.
IM going to hang a few blinds/shades, and call it a day.
maybe head over to one of the beachie cafes near the water and have an early dinner later.

Worked Friday at the day job. I have to stop doing that on my day off! People need to ind another day to go to the hospital!

Work on Saturday and Sunday also.

However, Thursday I got a little time in on the Putter Palace. Got a hatch cut in for the power cord. Mounted the breaker box and started retrieving electrical stuff from 7 different boxes. The penalties of just cramming stuff into boxes to get moved. The good news is I probably have darn everything I will need to get outlets wired and lights up. Did install a large fan on the ceiling to move air around. Works real well. Also got the 'porch' workable. Yeah, no time for posting pictures, but Glenn was complaining about few projects going on. So, I'm working. I'm just not taking pictures. One of these days. Didn't want to post about progress without pictures. Don't like being harassed. So didn't post. Consequences to every decision.

Got the JDS (see my other thread) stand back together, and the machine mounted on it. Been playing with it this afternoon, using scrap pine. Directions nearly as complicated as a Leigh jig, but when followed, they produce PERFECT(!) mortises and tenons. I think I'll buy a couple new router bits (end mills) for it, though.

Hey Rennie, I read somewhere there's a market for algae. You could be sitting on a goldmine, buddy. A goldmine! :D

Hadn't expected to do any woodworking this weekend, but as it turns out, I have a chance to start assembling the chairs I cut the parts for last fall. I was interrupted by a thundershower, though, and when I started again I had to quit because it was threatening rain again.
