Thanks to Glenn Bradley for pioneering this some months ago. Here is my version of the Darrell Peart jig. I built two of these today. The first was out of MDF as suggested in the book. However, I had problems with getting it to no split on me in several areas. So, I had an old circle cutting jig from my last band saw that was just taking up space and that became the material resource for this jig. I like the solid feel of the plywood much better, and..... It actually works!

This will be used on the tables I am building for our church. More to come as the project progresses.

Excellent Rennie. Works pretty slick eh?

P.s. I had no problems wit the MDF. Drilled pilot holes longer than the screw and of a diameter so that only the teeth bite (same diameter as the shaft). I read about this in some mag back aways and use the method still without issues.
