since i admittadly have a more than slightly twisted sense of humor (humour, for our canadian friends, wouldn't want them getting lost

If you make 'em like that it's no wonder. (you don't actually use the stringy bits in pumpkin pie.)

So does my wife... she also makes a great pumpkin roll, a rolled cake with cream cheese filling....I can make myself sick eating her pumpkin roll... eating a whole cake all by myself at one sitting....... delicious but oh so rich.
it may get tough this year though... Libby's has predicted a shortage of canned pumpkin and the fields are too muddy for them to harvest this year's crop... they are predicting a shortage until next years crop mature's... Guess they need to go to Chile and plant more there.
