What you've got chucked up looks fine. I would, however recommend putting the tailstock and live center on the other side of the wheel to help make sure the wheel doesn't come out of the chuck. Also, it will help if you have a slight dovetail profile on the hub (the part the chuck is holding). You can turn the dovetail on the hub by mounting the hub and wheel assembly between a spur center at the headstock and a live center on the tailstock.Any wood turner if you have a suggestion or if what I chucked up isn't safe please respond by tomorrow
