An electric Violin, but a different brand than the one my friend plays.
She began playing for her neighbors on Thursdays from her balcony last year during the COVID shut down, and they loved it. I have 2 of her albums that I play for background sound when doing studio photography. She is an acrobatic violinist and quite accomplished. She even plays upside down while hanging from ribbons. She lives in Long Beach, CA, across the bay from the Queen Mary.

Yep, it's an electric violin that's missing the E string. The bridge has also been moved off-kilter.

If you liked that, do a search for her on youtube. She has been posting a new song every week, and has 2 CD albums available. Those who visit my studio really like her latest CD "Love Songs" and This is one of the songs on that album. She has a Doctorate in Music and plays many instruments, but seems to like the electric violins the most. Haleluia went Viral when she posted it last year. There are a few videos of her doing the acrobatics and playing while hanging upside down high above the floor is on youtube as well.
