i started working for home depot about 3 weeks ago. working in the customer service area, and having lots of fun. fun coworkers, fun customers, and compared to the last 38 years in computer operations, no stress at all! fun work time, fun shop time, and retired to boot! (they also provide health, dental vision, etc. too...)

That's good to hear, Dan. A couple of my friends who've worked at the Lowe's near our house have had experiences that were nowhere near as enjoyable as yours has been. I'm sure working conditions at any big box store vary from one store to the next. Sounds like you landed in a good one.

I went to my local Home Depot and at the door was a sign stating they had rearranged things to make the visit more enjoyable.. Enjoyable means that even if you ask someone wearing an orange vest,, the response is, "heck is I know anymore, but I will be glad to help you look!!"
