    Teeth fairy box

And this is how the CNC machine begins to find it's way into a modern shop. Next is the box that cannot be made on a lathe.

    Plastic nail gun nails

I may try to buy some of the plastic nails and just try them. Otherwise, I will just use 5/8 brads. For what I will be doing on this fixture it will be fine. I don't expect to be cutting into the masonite

Building my blueberry patch raised bed. It is 10x8 about 14-16 inches deep. In the process I needed to clear up some old firewood for the base layer. Also building a fixture for the CNC machine.

    Plastic nail gun nails

This is for a sacrificial surface. Once it gets bad it gets replaced. Tear it off and slap on a new one. Maybe I can find aluminum nails for the PC brad nailer. I don't care moce for the double sided tape but that is an option.

    Plastic nail gun nails

Thank you Ryan, I have seen some of those, but I believe the problem is going to compatability with my Porter Cable gun. I don't have enough need to warrent buying the gun.

    Plastic nail gun nails

Uhhh yeah I know!!! Weird I have seen these plastic nails used on CNC machine in youtube vids. I am making a fixture and I want to fix some pressed hardboard (masonite) to the MDF fixture base. Regular metal brad nails are soft and easily cut, but with feeds and speeds on a CNC router and...

So far asking about stuff like this here has proven to give good results. When my daughter was still living at home she was selling Pampered Chef.. Like Amway, Cutco, Avon. We bought stuff from her, well, because. It was a long time ago. My granddaughter is 13 and she was not born till they...

Radial Vcarve texture on circular box lid. Updated spin-off!

A "V" cut with the tip of the bit cutting ON the vector is always going to cut Climb and Conventional. It's just the nature of the beast. Cutting off center will not make a pointy botton of the "V" cut. Same thing on a slot where the slot and bit are the same dimension. I have not found...

Radial Vcarve texture on circular box lid. Updated spin-off!

I use climb cut as much as possible. On the "V" cut it doesn't really matter, as the cut is climb on one side of the cutter and conventional on the other side, no matter what you select.

Radial Vcarve texture on circular box lid. Updated spin-off!

Yes, it could be that the machine bed it not flat or not parallel to the gantry axis in X and in Y. You can fix that by attaching a "sacrificial" table surface and then machining that flat with a "pocketing" toolpath, cutting as little as possible - maybe 1 mm Not sure about that one I will...
