yes for me it was a no brainer why spend all that money on the drone and get cheap on the controler.

Mike I have dji-rc controller which has a screen and doesn't use a phone interface and I am glad I spent the xtra $$$ if is fast. as an added bonus the screen is bigger than a phone.

I have starlink an have had it for a few year, very happy with it. It's not the cheapest @ $120/mo but I guess it depends what other options you have.

I went with AutoPylot since it had the highest star rating....lol. It seems to work well the first time I tried it.
