1946 Craftsman 6" Jointer

A local woodworker contacted me (found my website) and asked me if I would be interested in a 1946 jointer. No, sorry. Have no need or use for it - but - I thought I could help out a fellow WW by putting it up on the forum. Just in case.


Here it is. A 1946 Craftsman. I make no claims as to its condition other than he says it is "good". He is asking $300 OBO.

A bit overpriced, IMHO. $100.00 would be a fair price. I paid $50.00 for mine on a wooden base.

I have Dad's from 1950's looks just like that not easy to adjust when installing blades. Besides that it has a very short bed. Frank has it right " IMHO. $100.00 would be a fair price."
