while i was milling the parts for the candy machines, my sister called, and asked if i could make a name sign for her husband's grandson, and could it be ready for this saturday. i said that i will give it a try, as most of the week will be taken up by work, and pop is getting the garage ready for the birthday party. well, today i picked out the board for the project (cost me all of $1). sanded to 220, and edge planed, and ripped to width. then cut the board into 2 blanks, and commenced to cutting the signs. got them both cut today, just need to trim off the edges, a little remedial sanding, and give them a blo finish.
