start of a busy day. got all of the ash together, and started cutting the parts for the blanks. glue up starts tomorrow. there will be 28 blanks.

after a bit of thinking about the centers, decided to go with supporting the people we need. the first ones done, were the ones for the 911 dispatchers, then started on the first responders and called it a day. there will be 4 dispatchers, 5 first responders, 5 fire - rescue, and 5 law enforcement boards. nothing political about this, i have a nephew, and a niece in law enforcement, and a nephew that is a paramedic, so, it is a bit on the personal side as well.

last of the first responders boards has been cut. started in on the fire - rescue ones.

the first of the fire-rescue boards is done. i used a 20 degree bit, in three passes, for the items inside of the maltese cross.

got the first bunch cut to round, with a couple of the edges sanded. i was worried about how the one fire-rescue was going to turn out, as i thought it went a bit too shallow. i hit it with oil, and to my surprise, it turned out ok.

got the ones that are cut to round sanded to the finished line. have to do the profile, and holes on the last fire-rescue board, then start on the law enforcement boards. here is also a better shot of the fire-rescue boards.

got started on the law enforcement boards today. got started on the badge in the middle, finished up the badge, then got the circle, and lettering done. all that is left now, are the holes, and profile cut.
