2021 inspiration signs

as luck would have it, i have 12 really nice off cuts of ash, about 8.5 x 5 inches, and was mulling over what to do with them. then it hit me, the fishing signs turned out pretty good, so, i will do the same with these, but with much prettier fonts. i have 4 short sayings selected, and the vcarve code has been calculated. now i just have to get the m&m machines out of the way. (cnc is sure getting a workout this spring).

There is a sign in the local museum market place that I think is funny..... might be one you can add......

The sign reads: "Dinner choices"
1. Take it
2. Leave it.

got a start today. sanded all of the blanks to 320. now to get the m&m machines out of the way on the cnc...

since i needed a break from the monotony of making bases, i took a break, and along with the vase holder sides. i carved up the inspirational signs. this way, i will have something to do when i am not in the shop.

got them cleaned up today, and painted. tomorrow, i will trim them down to the engraving, as i don't like the way they turned out. then sanding the excess paint, and give them a coat of blo.

sanded them today, and only a couple need a little bit of touchup with a sharpie pen.
