38 years and still going strong !

3 days before my wedding I was running a crew removing insulation at the Nation Air and Space Museum. The snow was falling so heavy I told the guys lets knock off early. I had just crossed the bridge 5 minute earlier when the Air Florida just crashed into the bridge. Shelly was in Va. working with the Special Olimpia Cross Country skiers and I was going to head do to help. We had been teach the kids for a month getting them ready. There was no way I was getting down there and it was hard for Shelly to get back to Rockville but we pulled off the wedding with ice icicles hanging from the roof to the ground at the church and a lot of snow ! Still 250 people made it to the wedding. Family from out of town , it was crazy. A day to remember for sure.
