the printer showed up on monday, and i started working on it. as of last night, got the base, and y axis done. next up is the x axis, then the z. this one is going a lot faster than the other one. this one uses the 20x40 makerslide, along with the 20x20 extrusion. better than the acrylic frame of the other one.

That is an improvement over the acrylic for sure, your going to enjoy that.

I'm curious to see the electronics and if they've improved the safety with this model.

got a bit more done today. got the x and z axis stuff done. next item is bolt both assemblies together, and the hardware side is done. after that, the wiring, and such...

starting the day off right, finished the mechanical assembly of the mk2. my wife :blah: said it was muy lindo! tonight i start on the electrical side.
