Great! Your carvings are all so very detailed. Do you use the hard maple for its detail holding capability, or what? I can think of a lot of woods that'd be easier to carve.

Jim...Thank you Jim!!...You are correct...I have carved with a lot of different types of wood....Maple is a solid and heavy piece of wood that you can get great detail out of...I like it better than any other piece wood that I have ever used!!
