Around here that's a valid excuse during the first week of October. 
Hot air balloon pilots won't hesitate to land on a street if need be. Years ago I literally had to move the chase vehicle I had just parked to make room for this guy coming hot in for a landing.
I was waiting for this giant tennis shoe to drop out of the sky at the time.
