A quick and handy little project I just made.

Mirror cutter for cutting 12x12 glass mirrors to size for print beds. A regular glass cutter is fine, but hard to get clean, straight cuts.
I had some extra hardware lying around and had an idea,. I made a jig that will hold the glass and give me a clean, straight cut. It works great!

As you can see, it's just an 8mm x 400mm rod, an 8mm linear bearing, and a couple 8mm rod supports. A little bit of plywood makes up the rest of the unit,.
I bought a compass glass cutter for $10 on Amazon, Then I just used the cutter head removed from the cutting arm. I designed and printed a way to mount it to the linear bearing block.
Super simple and easy to build!

I just published the make on Thingiverse if anyone is interested in fabricating one,
